BICHON MAKEOVERS - "Diva" Then & Now

Just a quickie blog here to celebrate my upcoming anniversary of adopting my bichon, Diva. Her grooming has been progressing over the year. We should say, MY grooming has progressed. For dramatic effect, here is Ms. Diva as she appeared the day I adopted her, 12/19/04, how she looked this week after her most recent grooming, 11/30/05.

YOU'VE COME A LONG WAY, BABY!! Her personality has blossomed along with her hairdo. She has become playful, curious, wonderfully friendly and eager to meet everyone. A year ago she did not dare to blitz and run, now she zips around playing and having FUN! She is delightful. What a difference a year makes.

This grooming was accomplished using an Arius-Eickert Slimline 8.5" straight shear, a Talyn 7" double tanged curved, and an AE Proline 5.5" curved for eyes, feet and small areas. All these shears and many others are available at the bbird shopping cart. Shop with a Groomer!

    Hi there! I loved your blog about Diva! We just received ours last Monday and he looks like the before Diva. But his fur seems to be less dense then Divas and he chopped his fur in differant heights.(the old owner) I got a lot of the mats out but there is much more to do. In other words I find promise in him after seeing Diva. Thankyou and God bless!

    ello! Diva is just beautiful, and doesn't she look as if she knows it too! We became he owners of a Bichon, Lily, last Summer, and we can't believe how much she fills our hearts and our home with Love. Lily looked a lot like Diva's before picture when we adopted her from another family. I too am constantly working on the mats, and trying to keep the area around her eyes white. Does Angel Eyes work do you know? Thank you for sharing your Diva with us.
