Author's note: I had the mistaken idea that I could zip into my salon on a day off and take a few quick pics of these shears to show the angle of the curve. Hahahahaha. Bubba, the shop cat, who has lived in my salon for his entire 13-years of life, needed attention and insisted on helping me with the presentation. What-the-heck, I decided to go with it. Bubba also had his own ideas of what features might be important in a pair of shears. I myself would not have thought to check out the taste.

THE HANDLE - This handle has finger dips for maximum control and the handle is identical on both sides. This makes it very easy to flip and the groomer can maintain the correct grip of the scissor accurately in either position.
DOUBLE TANGS - Trumpet finger rests on both handles allow for maximum control and help to keep your hands in a proper grip for the scissoring action.

BLADE DESIGN - The blades on this shear have been carefully engineered so that they maintain the correct relationship for cutting in either position. Have you ever bought curved shears that did not cut when held in the reverse position? This is because of the way the two blades push together. When you flip the shears, the pressure relationship between the two blades shifts and the result can be a loss of cutting action. SCREW ADJUSTER LOCATION - You asked for it and you got it from Talyn. Groomers complained that when they used a curved shear in reverse, the screw knob on the back got in the way. Talyn listened and relocated the knob to the inside of the curved blades where it is never in the way.

NOTE TO LEFT-HANDED GROOMERS: There is a misconception that a scissor or
shear that can be flipped is equally good for right or left handed groomers.
NOT SO! If you are accustomed to using right-handed shears and have adapted
your scissoring technique so as to cut well with right-handed shears, these
would work for you. But a true-lefty version is available by request for
those who wish a shear with blades set up for normal use by a left-handed
person.
