I love grooming products, and Chris Christensen has much to love. The CoatLink Coat Dressing has my vote for "Most Fun Product of 2010". I not only enjoy the stuff itself, but I truly enjoy the results I have in using CoatLink. The fun is in the feel of the foaming coat dressing. It sprays on your hand and instantly transforms into a creamy luscious foam, like a mousse but more spreadable. The foam lends a lightness to the product so it is not over applied. It has an incredibly rich feel in your hands and works instant moisture and taming action into any hair. Any left-over product is a treatment for your own hands!
How CoatLink works -
The foaming mousse delivers hydration and shine to the hair. It is great on any flowing coat for better definition. It is applied after grooming as a final touch or to correct kinkiness or smooth an area. It's weightless and brushes right into the hair.
Uses for CoatLink Coat Dressing
Although the instructions suggest to spray it on the coat, I prefer to spray onto
my palm and then apply by hand to the hair. One of my favorite uses for CoatLink is to add a beautiful touch to Bichon Frise tails. It makes the plume tail more plume-y. You have to see it to believe it. Here is an example:
It's remarkable! I use it on EVERY Bichon tail. It is marketed for use on flowing dropped coats and double coats, but I use it wherever I want better definition and flow. It's great on Papillion ears, Havanese, and last week I used it on a Miniature Schnauzer puppy's furnishings that insisted on sticking out after grooming. The more I use CoatLink, the more uses I discover. Oh, and did I mention that it has a terrific fragrance?

I am positively blown away by Chris Christensen's products. You never could have convinced me that it makes that much of a difference without dramatically changing the feel of a coat!
ReplyDeleteI tried the Thick and Thicker conditioner/mousse in a fit of desperation at a show near Vegas: my Cavalier looked like he'd never been bathed, brushed or groomed for a month - when I was done, he had plush ears and pants! I am positively sold.
